Guy Gabriel Yoga & Ayurveda
After gaining a diploma in Ayurvedic health sciences from the California College of Ayurveda and completing his yoga teacher training at The Center for Yoga LA, Guy began teaching at corporate health studios such as Amgen, Disney, Universal Studios, Dreamworks, and Paramount Studios under Plus One & Gaims Fittness Banner. He also teaches the Ayurvedic component for yoga teacher trainings at various yoga studios as well as Hatha and Vinyasa yoga classes. He continued additional studies in yoga therapy at Loyola Marymount University with Larry Payne. Other notable teachers Guy has studied with are Rod Stryker, Tias Little & Eric Small. He has completed a green yoga leadership program at Mount Madonna earning a certificate from LMU in yoga and ecology from prof. Chris Chappel. He is a member of The Yoga Alliance, IAYT, NAMA, AND CAAM. He also works with Food and Water Watch. Recently, Guy played guitar at the Yoga Alliance conference 2012, solo and with the Mayapuris Band. He just penned a couple of articles for LA Yoga Magazine the most recent on creating sound sleep- the Ayurvedic perspective on sleeping. He is also featured in the June 2013 LA Yoga Magazine with his daughter on the cover in an article titled, 'Yoga on the Road'.
He wants all students to honor their limitations and think in a therapeutic and healing style when practicing.
